Affordable Sailing docks at Kettering
media release (2010-12-02 16:45:00)
SailTime Australia announced today the opening of their fourth base in Australia, complimenting successful launches in Newport and Middle Harbour, and newcomer Lake Macquarie. In just over a year, SailTime has been bringing Australian sailors dreams of sailing luxury yachts to reality at a fraction of the cost and minimal upkeep.
SailTime Australia CEO Graham Raspass said “The opening of our fourth base in 12 months proves our decision to bring the SailTime concept to Australia. We’ve been overwhelmed with the interest in fractional sailing, and believe that Hobart is the perfect location for a SailTime base.â€
SailTime Hobart Base owners are passionate sailors David Pring & Jeff Ayton who sailed their new vessel SailTime Reflection, a 37 foot Beneteaux Oceanis Cruising yacht in the 2009 Rolex Sydney to Hobart. They have discovered and enjoyed the beautiful sheltered cruising grounds of the Derwent and D’Entrecasteaux Channel with their families since.
Hobart is the ideal place to sail, with never ending places to explore, eat and enjoy. There are currently limited memberships available, and you can have the opportunity to meet the SailTime Hobart crew and book a trial sail at the official Base Opening will be held Saturday 4th December between 10 – 2pm at Oyster Cove Marina, Kettering or call 0428 254 663.
