Four fishermen rescued

OCCUPANTS of a boat overturned on the St Helen's barway this morning, have been dramatically rescued by police.
Four scallop fisherman were left clinging to their scallop boat which capsized about 8am.
The men are now being treated for mild hypothermia.
The scallop fishing vessel was returning to St Helens through the barway in 2-3 metre waves when it capsized.
Another boat spotted the capsize and reported it to police.
Crew members were found clinging to the top of the overturned hull when police boat Relentless and St Helens Marine Rescue arrived to rescue them.
All had been rescued by 9am and are currently being treated by ambulance officers for mild hypothermia.
